Green Flooring
Natural Coir Carpets
Cork Flooring
A quiet, clean surface that is very durable. Cork is a natural wood product from the outer bark of the cork oak, a species of tree native to the Mediterranean region. The bark is harvested from the trees without felling the trees. About one third of the trunk is stripped, approximately every nine years. The trees live-on until reaching full maturity about 150 years and is then replaced by a young tree.
Seagrass and Mountaingrass
Seagrass is a plant fiber derived from tropical grasses of saltwater marshes. The fields that house the seagrass require a flooding of seawater during the crop cycle which creates the non-porous surface that makes the seagrass products naturally smooth and stain resistant. Seagrass has a natural organic green cast to it that tempers and
becomes less green over time.
Application: Seagrass can be used in a wall to wall application, seagrass carpet, or can be fabricated as custom seagrass rugs.
Sisal Carpets & Area Rugs
As a generic term for all types of natural plant fiber floor coverings, including seagrass, hemp, jute, coir, paper and, of course, sisal. It has properties of durability and resilience that many artificial materials can't provide. There are many benefits to selecting a sisal area rug over carpets made from synthetic material. Sisal is naturally stain resistant, so you don't need to use any chemical treatments around your pets or children. It also doesn't build up static electricity, as we all know carpet does on dry, windy days. Sisal rugs are also very durable and won't compress or show as many wear patterns as wall-to-wall carpeting.

Loop pile or woven textures are styles that avoid traffic pattern and foot print tracks. Naturally flame retardant and reduces dryness and static.
